The invention of cocktails
If all cultures have produced some sort of alcoholic beverage since time immemorial, we have to wonder why we suddenly decided we needed to dilute our sacred beverages. To improve them? To make them more palatable? To add some variety?
While drinking our spirits neat is quite enough, and certainly very grown up, mixing our drinks to add new layers of flavor, can be also quite exciting.
So we decided to invent our first cocktail.
Enter cocktail number 1: El Corazón.
